The module is responsible for handling of Client Register and Accounts Register; provision of client files and client accounts opening, closing and modification as well as LORO and NOSTRO accounts. Intra-bank accounts are handled in General Ledger module.

Client Register contains all necessary information including economics sphere, indication of residence, country of registration, signatures and seal specimen, client affiliate information etc. It is possible to implement any kind of user-defined analytical data e.g. client type, rating etc. Handling of corporate clients is available as well.

All accounts and contracts with the bank referred to particular client are linked with the client record in the Client Register. Capability of linking of any kind of electronic document to the client information file is available.

Clients may be grouped by different indicators. Access rights assigned to bank employees may be connected with the particular clients, groups of clients, accounts, etc. Corporate clients having subsidiaries constitute special groups. All information concerned with subsidiaries is available for head organization of such group. The number of client hierarchy levels is not limited in the system.

Historical records are maintained for Client and Account Registers, i.e. all changes of attributes are logged and date/time stamped. It is possible to review the client/account history in chronological order with an indication of the date and type of modification made from the opening to the closing of client or its account. Information on closed clients and accounts is archived, but not deleted from the system.

Handling of accounts both in local and foreign currencies, and in ounces of precious metals is available.

Both centralized and decentralized modes of handling clients and accounts are available for banks with branches. Centralized mode means recording of clients and accounts in the head office using electronic application forms received from branches. On-line data exchange referred to clients and accounts between head office and branches is available in the system.
