On February 19-20 2019 Moscow hosted the 19th International Forum on Electronic Financial Services and Technologies (iFin-2019) organized by the Association of Russian Banks and iFin Media information. The iFin forum, Russia’s biggest event dedicated to advanced technologies and state-of-the art financial services, was visited by representatives of Colvir Software Solutions Business Development Department: Karina Buyanova, Marketing and PR manager, Igor Lebedev, sales representative for Russia, and Sergey Romanov, sales representative for CIS countries.

The forum business agenda was made up of topical sections and discussions that involved executives and leading experts from financial institutions, IT companies and government agencies. The key topics of iFin-2019 were as follows:

  • Electronic financial services for SME and corporate customers
  • e-Finance technologies and IT infrastructure
  • A state-of-the art electronic retail bank
  • Security of electronic financial services
  • From non-banking services over banking delivery channels to banking ecosystems
  • Block chain and crypto-currencies in electronic finance
  • AI, Big Data and Data Science promoting electronic finance development

The objective of Colvir Software Solutions business development department representatives visiting iFin-2019 was to familiarize themselves with sector innovations, emerging and prevailing trends. They noted high topicality of the subjects touched upon, as well as the high level of speaker competence and the densely populated exhibition of IT solutions presented by their developers.

Karina Buyanova, marketing and PR manager:

«The developers’ exhibition that was staged within the forum framework presented diverse off-the-shelf solutions for banks and finance companies. Generally speaking, exhibitors used their best efforts to present all types of remote banking services: delivery channel systems, mobile payments and mobile banking, financial self-service networks, and a lot more. Visits to such events are quite important in order to understand the state of the market and its needs, and of course in order to have opportunities for exchanging experiences with colleagues. A key priority for Colvir Software Solutions is to ride the crest in terms of market and product development trends, so as to provide our customers with solutions that are fully adapted to their future as well as to their current needs.

Igor Lebedev, sales representative for Russia:

“Banks that have bet on digital services have demonstrated a significant customer base growth pulling away from their less progressive competitors. There is an apparent trend for replacement of bank branches and supplementary offices with remote service delivery channels. Another trend observed is one for the provision of the full spectrum of services by solution vendors that include beside CBS delivery channel implementation delivery of associated equipment and installation services”.

The iFin-2019 international forum was visited by over 800 heads of IT and business departments of banks investment, brokerage and other financial companies from 40 regions of Russia and CIS countries.
